The Life of Faith

Excuse me if I daydream, but I seem lost within the folds of the galaxy. Dreaming of stars to rain down and make me glow. Tiny crystals go through me and awake my heart. Then, I fly with them, back to the Moon, and even beyond. Just flying with invisible birds makes my heart ignite and soar. I can even hear a song playing through my hair as the wind whistles by. Dancing on the moon brings me joy and happiness. It's as if all my fears brush past me like water. Sliding down Saturn's ring is like a slide, thrilling and giving you shouts and laughter. Forget your past, and even the present. Instead, think of the future; where all you can do is dance until there is no more life in you. Who cares what they say...you are your dream, and your life is tucked in for the night; ready to let loose within your life's dream. Once you see a shooting star, you know it's time to dream again. Just pray for the diamonds in the solar system to rain down and set your heart with wings. Even though your heart is dry, keep on singing to the sun. It will set your spotlight. Please, I pray that you don't wake me from my dream. Just excuse me if I daydream...you know what I'm doing....

Wishes and Dreams

Dreams & Wishes

I lie awake and listen to the fireflies and crickets chirp around me. Thinking to myself how God created these beautiful sounds and music, and wondering if I could do it too. I drift to sleep and dream of flower petals dancing in the summer breeze, and the branches of the willow tree bending down to kiss me. The fluffy clouds carry me away to a sea of bubbles, and they drift me down Saturn's ring. I lie under the Milky Way, and watch the stars flicker like the lightning bugs and fireflies down in my room. I awake...but it wasn't a dream...:)
